While looking for things we always kept our eyes open for good kids organizers. We needed three of them, as Debbie's nieces and nephews all decided to have kids at the same time, and now they were old enough to need something to put their stuff in. Mostly we got them at the big discount stores, because they seemed to carry the same stuff as the other places. We picked up a nice one for Katlin, her one niece, and another one for Megan. Both were about the same. Then Debbie asked me if I would put them together. I didn't want to say no, but thought about it for a while. So that would be my Saturday project. It would take some time to put both of them together. Well, that was on Saturday. At least I'd be free on Sunday to do what I needed to do around the house. Then I remembered that it was a holiday weekend, so I'd have a third day to get things accomplished. Then I didn't feel so bad. I just gathered some of the tools that I needed and set them aside. Then Jim called and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him to the riverboat. I wanted to, I said, but it would be unlikely with all the things I needed to get finished. He seemed disappointed, but I knew he would go on his own or find a buddy, or even Sue might go.
