LOCAL WALGREENS

I was walking around Walgreens waiting to pick up my medicine today. Of course I knew it would be over priced because it was a prescription drug and my insurance did not cover it, but they were either out of the generic or they did not make it anymore. I did not want to wait around for the pharmacist to figure it out, so I just took a walk around the store. I was actually surprised at the amount of merchandise walgreens actually had. I usually go just to pick up prescriptions, a pop, or a paper, so I never really noticed, but I could probably go grocery shopping in there. They had soups, bread, baking goods and even a dairy section as small as it was. This is not to say that I will be shopping there regularly, Walgreens groceries has Walgreens prices. A loaf of bread for a dollar ninety-nine I find a little outrageous when I can get the same bread at Wal-mart for ninety-nine cents. After deciding that I will stick to the local grocery store, I realized that I had been wandering around the Walgreens for about an hour. I must have walked down the same isles four or five times, or stood in the grocery section long enough to raise suspicion. When I went back to the pharmacy I found out they had been calling my name for about a half an hour. After I paid for my prescription, I decided I should find another pharmacy as well. Walgreens prices for my doctor’s medication are not so great on my wallet.
