I have been wearing my glasses for about a month and a half now, and I desperately miss my contacts. I had a six-month supply, but the thing about it is that they come in individual boxes for each eye, and I cannot find the right eye box. I had it when I moved and have changed them once since then, so I know it has to be in the apartment somewhere but I have no idea where else to look. It is driving me crazy because I know it is probably right in front of my face and I am just not seeing it. A friend of mine keeps telling me that I should just get the laser treatment surgery and get it over with. She got it about a year ago and loves it but I am still skeptical. I think I just want to wait and see what the long-term affects of it are, and plus it cost a bundle. My girlfriend is saving to have it done and I just do not want to think about having to come up with that kind of money. I really hope my roommate did not throw them away because it will be a hassle to have to go and get more, which is why I have not just gone to the doctor to replace them yet. Getting all the way to the south side, getting an appointment, taking that test…I do not even want to think about it. Ok, I know I am a little lazy here but that trip is not my idea of a great time, and besides, I probably do not have the money yet to pay for new ones anyway.
