The nearest town to where my brother-in-law and his wife built their vacation home is really well stocked with all kinds of specialty shops. Now, we will have more reason than ever to go there and we spend time. We love to browse the shops, and you can’t get a better meal anywhere. We found the quaintest little candy shop where they make delicious candy apples. They are like the ones we used to eat when we were children. The front of the little store looks like an apple with a door cut in it, and when you look through the window, you get a clear view of the candy apples being made. We did notice the sticker that read DSC Security, and know they are into keeping their business secure also, even in this little town where everyone seems to know everyone else. The shop owners do make it a point to know and remember their customers. It’s amazing that you can go away for months, and when you come back, they more times than not will remember you, and sometimes even remember your name. That is why we have always loved to go there for a weekend getaway.
